QRSong! adds Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer and YouTube Music

🎵 Big news for music lovers: QRSong! now supports Tidal, Deezer, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. That means you can copy and paste a public playlist link from these services into QRSong! and generate the same QR code cards you already know from Spotify.

We also updated the QRSong! companion app to version 1.5.0 for iOS and Android, adding more playback options so you can play tracks using the music service you prefer.

New music services supported by QRSong!

QRSong! started with Spotify playlist QR code cards. Now you can create QR music cards from:

• Apple Music playlists
• Tidal playlists
• Deezer playlists
• YouTube Music playlists

This update makes QRSong! a more flexible music QR code generator for parties, gifts, and trivia games, regardless of which streaming platform your friends and family use.

The workflow is designed to feel familiar. If you have ever generated QR cards from a Spotify playlist, the steps are essentially the same:

To support multi-service playback, we released QRSong! app version 1.5.0 for iOS and Android. Alongside stability improvements, the update includes:

• More playback services, so you can open tracks in the service you use
• Haptic feedback for a better scan-and-play feel
• Stability improvements to keep scanning and playback smooth during parties and events

For many groups, this is the real win: you can run the same game night even if guests do not all use the same music platform.

Spotify cards now play on other services too

One of the most important behind-the-scenes changes is that we have supplemented each track in our database with links for the new services. In practice, that means:

• QR cards generated from Spotify playlists can also be played using Apple Music, Tidal, Deezer, or YouTube Music.
• You are not locked into a single platform when you print your cards.
• It is easier to reuse older decks at new events, even if your streaming subscription changes.

Each streaming service has its own quirks, from playlist URL formats and metadata differences to how tracks are identified and opened for playback. Our goal throughout development was simple: keep the QRSong! experience consistent for every user.
